DIRECTIONS
TO LICKBARROW LODGE, WINDERMERE, LA23 2NQ (Grid Ref 418 971). If using SatNav or internet routes, please
input our PostCode
(LA23 2NQ), not "Lickbarrow Road." From South, M6 J36, then A590/A591 to Windermere (20 minutes). From North,
M6 J40, then A66 (West) for 1 mile, then A592/A591 to Windermere (50 mins). Drive down through Windermere village
and, at the end of the one-way system, immediately after the pedestrian crossing, turn left into Broad Street.
At the end, turn right at the T-junction, then immediately left into Park Road. Drive to the top of the
hill, passing Heathwaite Stores. Before entering Windermere Park, turn left into Lickbarrow Road. Ascend
steep hill, pass lane on left (sign - "Single track gated road"). After a further 200
metres, pass Pinethwaite on left, then enter next gateway on the left into Lickbarrow Lodge (the white house
with two balconies). The two parking-bays are on the right immediately inside our gateway - Guest Room (B&B)
to the left, The Studio (self-catering) to the right. We are usually home by 1600 and guests are very welcome to
arrive any time after that. Departure on your last day is normally by 1030.
